Pauline：Yes, indeed. Look at Joey. He』s as happy as a pig in mud.
寶琳：對啊，沒錯。妳看喬伊，他簡直樂透了。
Jessica：He sure is. He just loves to play with paper and calculators.
潔希卡：是啊。他就愛玩紙跟計算機。
Pauline：But, in a park? Isn』t that a little strange, though?
寶琳：可是，在公園內玩耶，這樣不是有點怪怪嗎？
Jessica：Oh, I don』t know. Joey is a very special boy, I guess.
潔希卡：唉，我不曉得。我想喬伊是個很特別的小男生吧。
Pauline：Maybe he will be an accountant when he grows up.
寶琳：他長大以後也許會當會計師吧。
Jessica：He does ask a lot of questions about taxes and interest rates for a 5 year-old.
潔希卡：就一個5歲小孩來說，他的確問了不少有關稅務和利率的事。

★as happy as a pig in mud
mud指「泥巴」，本俚語字面上的意思是「像在泥巴裡的豬一樣快樂」。其實豬是非常愛乾淨的動物，牠們在泥中打滾是為了散熱和防曬，而不是玩耍，對豬而言，這是相當清涼有勁的消暑方式，故本俚語後來即引申指「快樂得不得了」。
