★the lion’s share

本 俚語中的share作名詞用，表“一份”。the lion share 字面上意思就是“獅子的那一份”，引申表“最大、最多或最好的那份”。這個俚語源自《伊索寓言》，故事中，獅子跟狼（wolf）、狐狸（fox）及胡狼 （jackal）結伴去打獵，最后合力獵到了一頭雄鹿（stag）。貪心的獅子想用威嚇暴力的手段，獨吞大家一起打拼出來的成果。于是，人們便用 the lion share 來形容“最大或最好的部份”。
