★black sheep

black sheep 字面上的意思是“黑色的綿羊”。西方人普遍認為黑色象徵不祥，有不幸（misfortune）、威脅（menace）等涵義。這俚語最早出現于 19 世紀初，當時的牧羊人不喜歡混雜在白色羊群中的黑羊，認為牠們是邪惡象徵。

例：Paul is the black sheep of the family. Instead of getting a job, he does nothing but hit the bars and clubs every night.（保羅是個敗家子。他不找工作，整天只會泡夜店。）
