P︰Are you applying for the post of secretary to our general manager？（你是申請總經理秘書的職位嗎？）

C︰Yes.（是的。）

P︰Could you tell me why you want to change job？（你可以告訴我為甚麼要換工嗎？）

C︰I do enjoy my current job,but I do feel that it is time for a change.（我非常喜愛我目前的工作，不過我覺得是時候換一換。）

P︰What is your strength as a secretary？（你成為一位秘書的強項是甚麼？）

C︰I do think that I can cope with responsibilities and stress.（我真的覺得我可以應付我的任務及壓力。）

P︰The post needs dealing with both staff and customers and a lot of public relations work.（這職位需要和員工及顧客們來往，以及很多公關的工作。）

C︰I do believe that I have learned a lot about dealing with people in my present job.（我相信我已經在目前的工作中學了很多關于和人群來往。）

P︰Would you like to know something about the general manager？（你想知道一些關于總經理的事嗎？）

C︰Yes. I am very interested to know.（是的，我很有興趣知道。）

P︰Mr. Toh Boon Chong is his name. He has been with this company for more than ten years and everyone respects him.（他的名字叫卓文昌，他在公司工作超過十年了，人人都尊敬他。）

C︰I see.（原來如此。）

P︰However,he does insist on very high standard of work from his staff.（不過，他依然堅持他的員工們要有很高的貢獻。）

英文中Do及Does的語法分析：

Do及Does的其中一個用途是強調之後所用的動詞。當我們要講話時，在動詞前面加上do或does，就顯得我們認真及必然的語氣。英語句子中，是否加上do或does會產生不同的影響力。請看以下對比例句︰

1.I feel that it is time for a change.（我覺得是時候轉換。）

I do feel that it is time for a change.我真的覺得這是時候轉換。（這一句的語氣比較認真。）

2.I think I can do what you have said.（我覺得我可以做到您所說的。）

I do think I can do what you have said.我真的覺得我可以做到您所說的。（這一句的語氣也同樣比較認真。）

3.I believe in you.（我相信你。）

I do believe in you.我真的／依然相信你。（這一句的語氣也同樣比較認真。）

句型結構︰

Subject（主語）＋do/does＋verb（動詞）?

Do或Does之後的動詞不可使用－s、－es、－ies、－ing、－ed或Ｖ２（過去式動詞）及Ｖ３（分詞）。
